One of the most frequent sources of confusion stems from coding based on the service performed rather than the vessel treated. This webinar provides a clear and concise snapshot of cardiology anatomy and services, from basic diagnostics to advanced interventional procedures, helping business of healthcare professionals of all experience levels, whether new, intermediate, or seasoned, strengthen their confidence and accuracy. This comprehensive session will dive into coding for cardiac catheterizations and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), including stents, angioplasties, and atherectomies. It will also address injection services, congenital heart defect procedures, and other specialized cardiovascular interventions. Updates for 2026: The program will highlight the new PCI codes for complex stenting and chronic total occlusion (CTO) interventions, revised RVU values, CPT® 2026 code set changes effective January 1, 2026, and ICD-10-CM updates effective October 1, 2026.
