Duration: 60 Minutes
While performing a chart audit is important, effectively communicating the results is a critical final step in the audit process. It is important to understand why results reporting is vital, how to best communicate results, what to include in an audit report and on a detailed spreadsheet of audit findings, and how to craft value-added recommendations for improvement. In this webinar, we will review each of these in detail to learn tips and tricks for writing effective audit reports and for compiling results in an easy-to-understand spreadsheet. Various examples will be shared to offer different ways of reporting based on the audit scope and/or intended audience. Expert Amy will begin with an overview of the chart auditing process, and provide questions to ask before beginning the work that will make writing the report easy. We will then learn how to set up a spreadsheet to track audit findings and discuss quantification of variances. Tips for writing the actual report will be shared, along with examples of reports intended for various scopes and audiences.
