Course Description

Explore numerous changes and updates to ICD 10 CM for the 2026 Fiscal Year. The 2026 ICD-10-CM update saw the following changes: 487 new diagnosis codes were added, 38 codes were revised, and 28 codes were deleted. There were 14 new PCS codes for 2026 with 8 of them focused on Advances Wound Care. This webinar will explore how these changes could impact your coding as of Oct. 1, 2025.

    About the Presenter

    Nancy is a coder with 46 years in healthcare and 35 of those are in coding. She has worked in all settings from small hospitals in rural Utah to large university practices. She has filled roles as the VP of education for the AAPC, a CDI nurse, RAC auditor, and multihospital system inpatient coding educator. She has worked for multiple health plans including Medicaid, United Health Care and for a third party health plan auditor. She is currently a free lance consultant working towards retirement.
