Course Description

In early November 2023, the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (OIG) issued compliance program guidance for the third time (the first two being in 1998 and 2005). Compliance programs and healthcare have changed and evolved significantly since that time, and OIG’s guidance takes that evolution into account in this new guidance. From Board oversight to Compliance Committees to risk assessments and everything in between, learn during this presentation what the guidance means for your program and tips for how to incorporate it.
